  JAPANESE EXPERTS TO CONDUCT FEASIBILITY STUDY OF AGRIBUSINESS TERMINAL


        Bandarlampung,     - A group of Japanese experts will soon conduct a feasibility study of an agribusiness terminal in  Penengahan subdistrict, South Lampung regency.

    "The Japanese experts will cooperate with agriculture ministry personnel in conducting the feasibility study and observe the area where the agribusiness terminal would be built," farm produce processing and marketing director general of the agriculture ministry Zainal Bahrudin said here Tuesday.

    He said the six Japanese experts will inspect the site where the project will be built in 6 to 8 months.

    In the meantime, Lampung deputy governor Joko Umar said the local administration highly appreciated the central government's attention  to the building of the terminal.

    The feasibility study, Joko said will open up a new chapter in the building of agribusiness terminals which had been planned two years ago.

    Joko said that the construction of the project would be started next year.

    The building, operation and management of the project, he added, will also involve private businesses.
