Manado, North Sulawesi - Vice President Boediono is scheduled to attend a Christmas celebration in Manado, North Sulawesi Province, on Monday afternoon.

    "If everything is running well, the Christmas celebration with the presence of the vice president will be held on December 28, 2009, at 5 pm local time at the Governor's Guest House 'Beringin Manado'," Roy Tumiwa, a spokesman of the North Sulawesi administration said here on Monday.

     The vice president will stay for two days in Manado and is expected to speak on the importance of living in harmony and being tolerant among the faithfuls.

    Boediono is also scheduled to receive model high school students and inaugurate a fishery harbor in Bitung city. He will likely be accompanied by Fishery and Marine Affairs Minister Fadel Muhamad.
