the Acting President Mihai Ghimpu expressed his gratitude for the existing mechanism to extend mutual support to the candidatures of each country in various international fora. The Acting President Mihai Ghimpu also praised Indonesia’s achievements in economic field. Acting President Mihai Ghimpu also expressed his appreciation for Indonesia’s effort for gender equality, proven by the fact that many top level official positions in Indonesia - like Ambassadors - are held by women. Therefore, both countries wish to explore the possibility to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of economic, gender equality, culture, and education through the exchange of visit by both countries’ officials.

Ambassador Marianna Sutadi conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Acting President, while also conveyed her gratitude for the appreciation and will do the utmost to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Indonesia and Republic of Moldova. In return, the Acting President Mihai Ghimpu also conveyed his warm greetings to the President of the Republic of Indonesia and once again, welcomed the new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Moldova.
